The DiSarcina Way
Basics, Basics, Basics
Youth baseball players must have a foundation they can build on. We stress perfecting the fundamentals in order to build
confidence. A small amount of success will not only push them to work harder, but instill the building blocks of a strong
future.
Have Fun! Learning can be fun. We want each kid to have fun while he or she is learning.
With sklls competitions, low camper to instructor ratios, and professional stations, the kids have fun.
No
Two Players are Alike!
No two players are alike, so why should they be treated as if they are? Each player has his or her own comfort zones,
strengths, weaknesses and style. Individualism is promoted as long as certain fundamental approaches are followed.
Practice
What You Preach All of the fundamental drills that we teach were vital in our success. These drills were
used on a daily basis in our training. All successful players have a routine that stresses fundamentals and works on improving
their weaknesses.

Have Fun and Play Hard!
For the past 15 years I have been lucky enough to live the life
that every little leaguer dreams about. Words can not describe the feeling of putting on a Major League uniform for ten years.
It is a dream come true. Now that the dream of playing is over, it is time for me to move into the next chapter
of my life----Coaching.
My brother Glenn and I have formed The DiSarcina Baseball Academy with the intention
of passing on the knowledge we have gained from playing professionally for a combined 27 years. Our motto is; 'Learn
Fundamentals, Build Confidence and Have Fun'. We know we can help kids improve in the game of baseball and
more importantly help them become better people in life. We look forward to seeing you on the field!
Thanks
Gary DiSarcina
